Unfair to old customers. I do not want to register online. I waited while people kept just walking in and going before me. I was told to schedule online and only online.

I was next in line while waiting in the location. Some one walked in and they took him instead telling me that they only take online people only. I was told to ;earn to use the internet. that is how things are done these days implying that I am old. Addison Il. store on lake.

I've been debating whether or not to write in a complaint to the corporate center of Great clips, for probably three and a half weeks now. About a month ago I visited the South county location Great clips, near the South county mall in St Louis Missouri and I got my haircut asking for it to be washed and thinned out, and I believe an inch taken off the ends and wanting to keep the length.

The lady that cut my hair was really nice and she kept commenting that my hair was so thick and I agree with her basically saying yes and I need to get rid of the thickness and it's impossible to work with. So she ended up cutting off in approximately the inch, and then proceeded to I believe thin out maybe like 8 to 10in from my scalp basically like two clips of the thinning scissors on each side of my hair so four in total. Being that my hair was so thick and I go home and it took a long while to dry but I woke up the next morning and my hair was still so thick and I was like man all I wanted to do was get rid of the insane amount of thickness that like I said is impossible to do anything with. So the next day I had to have someone bring me up there again and talk to the gal telling me the same worker was not there that day and it was one of their best stylists and that they would take care of it no problem, and that was great.

Unfortunately she was not the one who assisted me in the next step, being the second time I would have my hair cut by your salon. This lady's name was Nikki who apparently did not have an ideal spelling as I heard her mention to another customer upon checking her in. Then she came back and proceeded to talk to me about my hair and what I wanted to do and I simply explain to her that I just wanted the thickness of my hair to be thinned out and that the lady before I just didn't think she cut enough of my hair and I told her basically what she had cut and two times on each side and then this Nikki lady proceeded to tell me it would probably just need some like long layers in order to keep the length and that would pretty much solve my problem. So she began to do that and then proceeded to repeatedly reiterate that how damaged my hair was and how broke off it was when she was cutting it, for the whole entire salon being that it was kind of small and for everyone to hear and how damaged that my hair was.

Which I can't tell you how embarrassing that was, while I was trying to explain to her that I used a pretty expensive hair mask to try to rectify any damage that I had. And she begins telling me Oh no that was the worst thing I could possibly do, and even at dying my hair leaving it on a minute over the time was contributing to the damage, and that I told her I didn't use any bleach because she insinuated that I did and that even using an uplift again a minute over the time that it requires what again contribute to damaging my hair as it was and that it was completely breaking off with every cut she trimmed and that it was completely broken off at the back of my hair and I told her no it was because I had cut that from the back of the bottom of my head to try to thin the extreme thickness down and that was about maybe 8 months ago and it had grown out indefinitely at least probably six to eight inches of healthy hair. And then on to the worst part, when I asked if there was there a way that she could blow dry it out and see if it had reduced any of the thickness and help the situation of what I was truly trying to go for she said no and I said well what about cutting off or buzzing off the back ends of my hair about a couple inches or even one and she was like no that would take like some years to grow back and you wouldn't want to do that even though I just told her that's what I did instead of the damage that she accused me of having. But then she extremely got pissed off and trust me I am a person that has a lot of anger and I was doing everything I could to keep from getting pissed off myself well she continued to physically show her anger and then especially upon her then going in with the thinning shears about like 2 in from my scalp and going completely around my hair and every time she did the cut with the thinning shears you could tell that she was angry not only by her physical actions and with every time she use the thinning shears as going around my head she basically like almost slammed the scissors shut as if in it were in words, it would be something to the effect like, huh ...I'll show you.

You want thinner hair, I'll give you thinner hair!!! Is pretty much like what I got from every time she basically clamped them thinning shears together and you could tell it was completely out of anger with each section she used it on going around my head. I recently went into the doctor's office and had my hair down and the nurse that recently seen me had even made a comment saying wow I can see how thick your hair is when it's down! So even though this Nikki person had completely thinned out my hair which it's still pretty thick and that's the main point that I'm trying to get across is that's how thick it truly is and it's very annoying, but what is more annoying is when I have to deal with complete ignorance and mean and almost ruthless in your face attitude from a stylist and trying to get the point across, that what I need my hair to be like and it's not a huge problem that I am trying to explain simply that I want my hair to be like 4 inches of less volume then the six to eight inches it is on both sides of my head and I don't need a person who is not able to hold back their anger, their attitude, and they're disregard for my feelings, while insinuating every other sentence for everyone in the salon to hear about how damaged my hair was and just plain simple rudeness and combination with the anger and me trying to be pleasantly dealing with this whole scenario by really not even saying a word because I knew that if I had went off it would have been a complete scene and had messed up everybody's day but instead I reluctantly took her abuse and kindly tipped her $5 and went on about my way saying thank you.

And trust me it took everything in my soul not to snap on her for 1) being ignorant and 2) disregard about the damage of my hair and telling the whole entire salon to which it was nobody's Business but mine and 3) her trying to talk me out of anything I was trying to come up with and discuss with her my needs and her not trying to help me and decide what is best especially when she's the one that supposed to be the professional and 4) her unprofessionalism towards me as a customer while being in a customer service business and 5) basically her taking her anger and attitude out on my hair, with almost a mischievous and benevolent and simply pissed off action each and every time she snapped those thinning shears as she went around my entire head. This is my first haircut with you guys in a really long time but however I do bring my son in there along with my sister and my niece and nephew pretty often and this inappropriate behavior by this stylist was very unacceptable and apparently pretty traumatizing since I've done nothing but ponder the thought of contacting corporate nearly every day since her cutting my hair. I am just very irate at the way she displayed her attitude against me and it almost was as if she was to switch places and she was like the pissed off customer and I was the person who just had to sit there and take her anger and she took it out on me. Now I see the reason for all the one star reviews which has way more than any of the above 2-5 stars.

Only time will tell how she affected my hair, if any thing, but worse how she affected me and the treatment against me.

Something really needs to be done here in order to flip those customer reviews from having five stars definitely outweigh the one Stars instead of vice versa. I'm not sure if it's a matter of corporate not caring about maybe any of the reviews or complaints that is given from these customers that have had issues I haven't even read about, but simply something needs to be done.

Haircut Gone Wrong!

Dear GreatClips Owners:

I am submitting this letter to you on behalf of my visit yesterday 04/27/2022. At approximately 2:45 pm I arrived at the location after checking in online.

Upon arrival I seen my name on the monitor. The lady that approached had trouble with the sign inkept asking me my name, did I check in online and if I had a new phone number. The other woman Lisa came and took my phone number and checked me in.

My regular stylist Ms. Debra was not in.

I have been coming to this location for over 3 years and Ms. Debra cuts my hair and have NEVER had an issue or complaint. Even used another stylist in her absence and was just as satisfied with her work! TODAY however was a totally different situation.

I didnt want to cut any of the top (WILL WAIT FOR MS. Debra). Just needed lining and trim down the back. Ms.

Lisa chopped the sides to far up and gave me a DRAMATIC V LINING AS SHE STATED! I asked for a V shaped lining in my understanding the bottom WOULD NOT BE ROUNDED BUT V SHAPED! WELL, HER DRAMATIC V WAS JUST THAT; STARTING AT THE TOP OF MY EAR SLANTING OVER TO THE CENTER OF MY HEAD IS COMPLETELY CLEANBALD! THIS ONLY ON THE LEFT SIDE.

SHE THEN INFORMED ME THAT SHE WAS NOT SURE ABOUT HOW TO CUT THE OTHER SODE BECAUSE OF A SPOT. NOT SPOT THAT IS THE CURL PATTERN TO MY HAIR! SO HAD SHE CUT THE RIGHT SIDE LIKE THE LEFT SIDE I WOULD BE BALD WITH A V IN MY HEAD AND BALDED ALL AROUND! Not at all what I would wear or asked for.

The male stylist looked and got out. The other woman sat in disbelief and even agreeing with me that it was messed up and suggested that Lisa call Ms. Debra. She went to the back and retrieved the numbers from THE WALL.

She attempted to reach Ms. Debra. We discussed her experience and what she thought I wanted. She was unsure of what to do next.

I then asked if there was someone I could speak with since Ms. Debra didnt answer, and the other lady stated to call Roslyn. Roslyn was called with the first call being unanswered. Rosalyn was very blunt in her response to the situation.

Even told Lisa not to try to fix it because she already doesnt like it. The told her that there is nothing she can do if the hair is gone, and I will have to wait until it grows back. After going back and forth with trying to figure how things I was told that I could go to another location and that Pam can fix it. Not being considerate of me, my time or my hair.

I stopped in to get a cut before picking up groceries and having to pick a kid up from then then a 5:30pm CVS minute clinic appointment that was MISSEED!! I was almost in tears at her tone and dictating to Lisa what to tell me even told me that she did her best! How could you be so quick to place judgement and know her best work when she was not present and at that time had not seen the photos that were sent to her phone. Lisa was very apologetic and was being guided by a rude individual who was not present and was telling me what I should and could do with no regard for me.

Never stated she would come to address anything just telling what to do. I had to ask for the photos to be sent to her so that she could see them. I walked out feeling and looking like crap. Sat in my car and returned to ask for corporate information and Rosalyn was still on SPEAKER PHONE talk crap, and I addressed it.

She stated that the police would be escorting me out of a place that shaved one side of my head and Im not supposed to feel a way! She told me I was nasty from the start. Not sure what her start was; she was notified 15 minutes after the damage was done. When asked Management information I was told by her that she was the GM!

I am not satisfied with the look; the way things were handled and the threats from a dictator no present because of her position. I have colored hair and with her shaving me bald I had to go fix that which means my color is messed up. The hair colored not be the same as the new hair that was shaved. WHICH MEANS AT SOME POINT I WILL HAVE TO SHAVE IT ALL TO LET IT GROW BACK FOR EVEN COLORING!

An opinion was landed before she ROSALYN even saw the damage and I was being told what to do after not liking having a lining start behind my ear and slant over to the middle of my head!

And WAS SUPPOSED TO BE OK AND NOT BE UPSET???

REVIEW YOUR CAMERA/SECURITY COVERAGEI became upset after being talked AT like I was a kid in trouble. Your hair can be messed up, you get talked to and treated like crap and nothing can be done!

Terrible hair cutWent to Great Clips

Went to great clips in new Braunfels at 337 and46 . Had a hair cut from Susie.The left side above my ear is gouged.The right side looks chopped.I asked her not to cut the top to short as I have a large scar on the top of my head.Does not look like she cut it at all. Have used this location a long time ,if I go back I will not let Susie cut my hair.

The girl butchered my hair. I'm mean messed up my haircut something terrible. I even brought in a picture to show how I wanted it. I look like well I can't say it because it might offend someone. I am a woman and now I look like a freaking dude.

Horrible & incompetent stylist - rude.

Not listening to the custo.er, than proceeding to chop, not cut hair. - saying "oops" . No apology. Still after 10 days of growth, choppy, too short to use curling iron, comments on how bad it looks - I think in 2 more weeks, I can find a stylist to fix it. Never recommend Great Clips again!!!

I was hoping to set the first appointment in the morning. Your website isnt able. I prefer not to drive all the way there an have to wait behind a bunch of people if others are seeking the same time slot. Whats the point of online appointments if you cant select the first one of the day?

Terrible service

My mother and I had haircuts today at the Tiffany Springs location. I have never had such horrible service.

The two hairdressers that were there were listening to a training video about scheduling. Complaining the entire time about the company. My hair was cut dry, has so many long pieces that I have to fix myself. I was a hairdresser years ago, this behavior was unacceptable, absolutely horrible.

My mother's girl kept leaving, walking over to check the ipad...totally ignoring her customer, then let her walk out with a wet head, 84 yrs old...would have taken 2 mins to dry the few hairs she has. I feel horrible that I even went there today, my hair was better off out if shape. Just thought you'd like to know how this salon is run.

That is our last visit there! Thank you for your time.

I went in with shoulder-length hair. I asked for a long *** My hair was cut so unevenly, it looked like I had divots in my hair. It looks bad I cried. Another stylist tried to repair it the best he could, but it is just too short in some places to fix.

Inability to schedule

They have adopted a procedure to check in online and schedule your hair appointment. This all sounds good, but it should actually work, or it is just another waste of time. I checked in on 5/6/22 and was told it was a 54 minute wait. Showed up at salon 50 minutes later and was told it would be another 30 minute wait. This is a complete waste of my time. I will go to another salon rather than deal with this degree of ineptitude.
