All the ladies were really nice but will never go there again and honestly would like our money back. Our almost 2 year old has a patch missing on the side of his head. I understand he was moving quite a bit cuz the noise of the clippers scared him but they should know how to still cut hair in those situations

I did contact corporate and they replied with "give us another chance and your next hair cut will be for free". I replied "if the first hair cut was horriable and unmanageable why would I consider going back for free." .
Then a woman came to the desk, never greeted me, nor smiled; she just looked miserable. It just looked like she was having a bad day. I gave her my name, and then she directed me to her station. I did not feel good about this.
I explained what I wanted, and she never responded or even acknowledged me. She brushed my hair and was obsessed with my uneven layers. I stated I know, and that is what I am here for: to give me short layers and style my hair. Can you do this?
I showed her a picture of what my hair looked like 5 years prior. I asked her if she could do this, and there was no response; she went to the back to get the manager. The manager said to have a seat up front. Me thinking he was going to cut my hair.
Well, I was wrong; a cutter named Gabby came over, and she was going to cut my hair. I showed her right away what I wanted, and she said she could do that. Well, at the end of the session, my hair looked nothing like the picture. The only thing different was my hair was 6 inches shorter in length with the same uneven layers.
Apparently, giving them a picture does not help them. Great Clips are not stylists; they are hair cutters with no rhyme or reason as to what they do. I will never go there again. What a waste...
I should have never paid for it.
I walked out of the store with the same style but 6 inches shorter... SAVE YOUR MONEY and go to a better salon with real stylists.

I took my daughter to great clips Denville New Jersey do you get a haircut? The woman who work at this store was very rude to my daughter.
I believe some discipline action needs to be taken maybe like her getting fired because my daughter had a problem with her hair. She was very rude to her and she was looking for a tip. My daughter paid for the haircut and we left, but Im bringing this to your attention that you need to discipline this woman who works in the New Jersey store in Denville, New Jersey. She needs to be fired immediately.
How she talked to my daughter was very rude. I will never go to her again at this location.

I got a coupon for a haircut expiring on May 14, 2025.
But the salon is closed May 14-15. What is the point of sending a coupon that is only valid for a location that is almost always closed?
I have the screenshot of the hours that show that the salon will be closed May 14, 15, and half a day on the 16th.
This is every week. This location should be shut down instead of relying on false advertisements.

I went to the Great Clips in Port Orange, FL, because I just needed to get a few inches cut off for the summer. I didn't go there with high expectations because of the price, but this was the worst experience.
From the time I sat down until she said I was done was no more than 5 minutes. And the worst part is I tipped her good because that's just how I am. I mean, this lady took a pair of scissors and cut straight across and said, 'Okay, you're done.' Didn't even look to see if it was even. One side of my hair was wet and the other side completely dry.
I very much regret tipping her at all. If she at least acted like she was trying to make it look decent, then I wouldn't even be as mad that it is such a bad cut.
I could have had anyone take scissors and cut it across like she did. Total waste of money.

Recent haircut
- - Kathy at Great Clips Gilbertsville cut the back of my hair shorter than requested.
- - Senior price listed $19 but charged $23.
Been going to great clips for awhile now and never had any issues but last week 6/4/25 went to the great clips in gilbertsville pa. Stylist Kathy was assigned and I related what I wanted done .
Even though I continually stressed that I wanted a trim she hacked off the whole back of my hair close to my head !!!. When I realized what she had done I was appalled .. She said oh its not too shortit looks nice thats the style now. .
Needless to say there was nothing I could do then.
The other stylist seeing what happened continually tried to cover by saying it looks really nice
On top of the bad haircut she insisted that the senior haircut price was $23.00 when the sign above clearly stated $19.00. I was tired of talking to her at that point and just paid what she asked.
Im trying to be positive but every time I look at it I get so angry ,,, what right does someone have to give you a haircut that they think is acceptable !
I will repeatedly tell everyone that asks to NEVER allow Kathy to cut hair.
She is definitely not an asset to great clips in a good way .

I had a deeply disappointing and discriminatory experience at the Great Clips located at 4030 N Hwy 29, Newnan, GA 30265. This location appears to have a double standard when it comes to the services they offer to Black women.
While they offer perms for Caucasian women, they do not provide equivalent services for Black women. I visited this location seeking a roller set, a basic and common service. Although I brought my own rollers and the stylist was willing to complete the service, the manager told him he could not do my hair. The stylist expressed discomfort, saying he wouldn't ask me to leave since I was already there, but ultimately, the service was denied.
When I asked the manager why services were being offered to one race and not another, she simply said, 'That's just the policy.' She identified herself as the manager and directed me to customer service. After calling, I was told the owner would contact me. When the owner reached out, I explained the situation. She told me they only offer perms and could not accommodate my needs.
She also claimed she would discontinue perms for Caucasian customers entirely. However, when I returned a month later with my mother and son for haircuts, I witnessed a Caucasian customer receiving a perm—clearly contradicting her statement. This experience was frustrating, hurtful, and discriminatory.
It's clear that Black customers are not treated equally at this location. I will never support this Great Clips again, and I hope they reflect seriously on their policies and practices.

Tried to make an appointment for two cuts and told it was a 45 minute wait

This isn't the first time I've left one of your salons completely disappointed; it's always a gamble, and this time was the last straw. On top of that, the staff was rude.

- - Wanted a half-inch cut on the bangs; about an inch was cut.

I told the girl I only wanted an inch off but only a half inch on my bangs. She cut up to 3 inches off in some places on the back, and then never even cut the front.
So, I asked her if she was going to cut anything on the top and front. 'Oh, I didn't know you wanted any cut in the front. I said only a half inch on the bangs.' She cut off a good inch!
So, I asked if she was going to blend the angles on the side. She replied, 'Oh yeah, there are chunks out of one side of my hair and the lines aren't even straight.' I'm a retired hairstylist, so I know a bad cut when I see one.

Back in November I had a coupon for great clips and I went to my nearest location and the wait was longer than expected and the staff were rude. Bc of my negative experience I called great clips customer support a few days later where it took over half and hour to pick up my call only for them to make excuses on the slow response and when I told them they never sent the complaint to the location where I got the bad experience.
I called back that location recently and told them what happened and they told me they never got the complaint from the corporate offices showing that the customer service team there were lying little *** The good thing is that the management at this location were very understanding with me and if offering me a free haircut on my next visit to their location but if the damn customer service at great clips did their *** job right I wouldnt have had to settle with them independently. If you want to deal with customer service agents lying to you then you should use this if not then hopefully sport clips will treat you better.
